PUBLIC MEETING No. 2 – 4th MARCH 2019

Following the information below regarding the Joint Spatial Plan and options for taking traffic from Nailsea to the M5 J20, we understand that the further consultation document will be issued early in February, probably on the 6th.  Known as the Joint Local Transport Plan, it is really the detail of the proposals in the Joint Spatial Plan (November 2018).

Cllr Nigel Ashton and appropriate North Somerset Council officers have agreed to attend a meeting for Tickenham residents on MONDAY 4th MARCH 2019 from 6.00 until 7.00 p.m. at the NSC offices, Castlewood, Clevedon.   The option of diverting traffic from Hanham Way, Nailsea, to the B3130 near Washing Pound Lane and onward to the M5 will have a significant effect on Tickenham.  This further meeting is an opportunity to hear more about the transport options contained in the Joint Local Transport Plan direct from Cllr Ashton and the NSC officers: you can voice your opinions and  ask questions.  Visitors’ parking at Castlewood is very limited, so please share transport with your neighbours.
