The monthly event is held at Tickenham Village Hall and is organised by parents and staff at Tickenham Primary School, with all proceeds put back into the school.

In a bid to promote the market, new co-ordinator Lisa Collard has begun signing up people willing to hold outdoor stalls, including organic fruit and vegetable producer Mark Cox, from Barley Wood Walled Garden.

Lisa said: “Outside stalls seem to have worked for other markets so we thought we would try it. We get lots of stall holders willing to take part so we just now need to increase our footfall.”
